The renovated apartment is well appointed with central heating/AC, super fast WiFi, laundry machines, full kitchen, full en suite bathroom with bath and shower, brand new queen bed and mattress, a great room with dining, cozy seating, and a 65" smart TV. This clean and tidy unit is the definition of easy living.

This ground level (no stairs) apartment is part of a 25 acre property that includes a main home and a building with three apartments. The new owners recently renovated the entire property so all of the appliances and systems are brand new. Pets are permitted in Unit 1 by permission only, plus fee. This property is located in close proximity to many Vermont ski resorts such as Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, the Middlebury Snow Bowl, Rikert Nordic Ski Center, Pico, and Killington, among others.

Guests may park on either the north or south side of the building. If guests use the driveway marked 615 Dog Team, they will park on the north side of the building and will then have to walk around to the front door for Unit 1 which is on the south side of the building. It is a very short walk. Guests may also use the driveway marked 675 Dog Team Road. In this case guests may park right near the main entrance to Unit 1, which is on the south side of the building.

The apartment is in a building with a total of three living units. The property is 25 acres and includes a main home plus the apartments. The main home is usually occupied by the owners or their guests. The owners live in Ohio and visit Vermont frequently. When the owners are in Vermont, they will be available to meet with guests if the guests wish.

This is a beautiful part of Vermont, tucked in between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Recreational opportunities are exceptional. Beautiful swimming holes, including a famous one within walking distance on Dog Team Road. Mountains to climb everywhere, from local Snake Mountain to nearby Mt. Abe. Try out the 16 mile Trail Around Middlebury (the TAM) for a wonderful hike around the village. Skiing at Sugarbush and the Middlebury Snow Bowl. Sailing and boating on nearby Lake Champlain. Swimming and water skiing at nearby Lake Dunmore. Middlebury is a vibrant and charming college town filled with great restaurants, art galleries, museums, and of course all that the world-class college itself has to offer. This property is located in close proximity to many Vermont ski resorts such as Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, the Middlebury Snow Bowl, Rikert Nordic Ski Center, Pico, and Killington, among others.

It is a very easy 4.5 mile drive into Middlebury along Route 7. It is also easy to go north on Route 7 to nearby Vergennes, which is filled with wonderful shops and restaurants, or even to Burlington, which is only 30 miles north. We have established a framework for rental costs, cleaning fees, and related fees, such as fees for pets, extra guests, early check-ins and late check-outs, and special requests. These are set in advance, and they are not negotiable. We will enthusiastically accommodate all of your requests, assuming that we are able to do so, and we ask that you will respect and honor our cost structure, all of which is covered in this listing.

-Pets are allowed by permission only and require an extra fee that will be charged based on length of stay, type of pet, etc. Minimum pet fee is $150 for 1-3 nights. Additional nights at $35 per night. There may be additional fees for large dogs, puppies, additional pets, etc. Host reserves the right to not approve pets and to charge additional fees.

-An adult over the age of 25 must reserve the property and be present during the stay.

-Stays of longer than 10 days require additional cleaning fees that will be set by the Host. A weekly cleaning service will be provided to the Guest and the fee will be paid by the Guest. Electric will also be paid by Guest.

-After 2 guests, an additional $65 per person, per night is charged.

-Late check-outs and early check-ins can sometimes be arranged for; an extra fee of 1/2 the cost of one night for up to 4 hours and a full night fee for more than 4 hours. If you think you will need an early check-in or a late check-out, we recommend that you reserve the night before your arrival or the night of your departure to ensure that our housekeepers can accommodate your timing needs.

-The apartment is part of a large building that includes a total of three apartments, a carport, and a shared laundry room. While it is normally a quiet place, you can occasionally hear other guests coming and going.

-The apartment allows pets by permission only. We clean thoroughly between guests. But if you have a severe pet allergy please be aware that you may be exposed to a small amount of residual allergens.
